METHYMNAEOS DRY ORANGE
Highest Accolades: 17.5/20 for Methymnaeos Orange 2014 by jancisrobinson.com, Methymnaeos
Orange 2022 listed in the 2023 50 Great Greek Wines list.
Varietal Composition: 100% Chidiriotiko grapes.
Certifications: Protected Geographical Indication Lesvos, Organic Wine.
Characteristics: Orange color. Scent of oranges and orange marmalade. The taste of orange gradually gives way to apricot and a hint of toffee. Dry wine, but with umami and a round mouthfeel evoking sweetness. Earthy finish, pleasantly textured and rich.
Serving Suggestions: Serve chilled on its own or with omelet, salmon, all kinds of roe, duck and non-
western seafood dishes like sushi. Works well, too, as an aperitif or after-dinner wine.
